Rigid couplings are small, compact power packs designed to transfer high torques at a minimum of available space. This type of coupling is used to connect several shafts or to improve the ease of installation, for example in mixer applications, providing a stiff connection between two aligned shafts.
Options: Available in a wide range of hub configurations to meet diverse assembly requirements, with shaft diameters from 5 mm to 104 mm and torque ranges from 2.7 Nm to 12,500 Nm depending on execution. Stainless steel variants are also available across the range, providing corrosion resistance for demanding environments.
Hub styles include set screw, single-slit, and split designs, allowing flexible mounting options and adaptability across various shaft and installation configurations—including the ability to connect multiple shafts in a line.
The rigid, single-piece connection enables high torque transmission in a compact design, while the split-hub versions allow assembly and disassembly of the coupling without moving the shafts, without sacrificing stiffness or accuracy.
Additional features include a broad range of shaft diameters and torque capacities to fit specific application requirements, along with easy, secure, and fast assembly via set screws or radial clamping screws, keyways possible on request, and availability with a unique standard bore as well as different bore diameters.
