In 1992, PT International (PTI) was founded with a vision to become the most trusted resource for power transmission products. From the start, PTI focused on delivering dependable components backed by engineering expertise and customer-first service.

That commitment to quality and capability expanded in 2018, when PTI extended its portfolio through the acquisition of IPTCI Bearings and LMS Bearings. This move strengthened engineering capabilities and introduced custom manufacturing solutions—laying the groundwork for a broader, more integrated offering.

2020: Uniting Strong Brands into One Platform

In 2020, Solve Industrial Motion Group was formed to bring together multiple proven brands under one unified platform.

This wasn’t just a merger—it was a strategic shift. By aligning independent brands with deep expertise in bearings, power transmission, and conveyor components, Solve created a more powerful, connected solution for distributors, OEMs, and MRO teams.

The Goal: Eliminate sourcing complexity and deliver a true end-to-end drive train solution.

2021: Expanding Capabilities and Product Depth

Solve continued to strengthen its portfolio with key additions that expanded both product breadth and application expertise.

In 2021, the addition of Tritan (formerly Bearings Limited) enhanced Solve’s ability to deliver a comprehensive range of bearing solutions across industries.

In 2022, Solve expanded further by adding:

2023: Advancing Precision and Specialized Solutions

In 2023, Solve acquired SPB-USA, the leading distributor of EZO miniature bearings in the United States.

This move strengthened Solve’s position in precision and small-scale applications, enabling support for industries requiring tight tolerances, compact designs, and high-performance miniature components.

2025: Strengthening the Platform for the Future

Solve’s growth continued in 2025 with the addition of several key brands:
