Thrust Ball Bearings

Thrust ball bearings are designed specifically to handle axial (thrust) loads in one or both directions, providing smooth and reliable performance in applications where radial loads are minimal. These bearings consist of ball elements positioned between two raceway washers, allowing for efficient load distribution and reduced friction. Thrust ball bearings are commonly used in low-speed applications such as turntables, screw jacks, vertical shafts, and positioning systems where controlled axial movement is required.

Options: Available in a wide range of configurations to meet diverse application requirements, with solutions manufactured under our PTI and TRITAN brands. Bearing materials include high-performance AISI 52100 chrome steel, offering strength, durability, and long service life in demanding environments.

Bore types are available in round configurations to support standard shaft designs. These bearings are engineered with varying dynamic and static load ratings to accommodate different axial load requirements across applications.

Lubrication options include light oil preservatives to ensure smooth operation and protection during storage and use. Thrust ball bearings are designed to operate at maximum temperatures of 212°F, 248°F, or up to 275°F depending on application conditions and configuration.

Additional features include a range of outer diameters and widths to meet space and load requirements, along with stainless steel retainers for durability and corrosion resistance. Bearings are available in multiple dimensional configurations to support various equipment designs.
